Calling for Submissions (Pun Intended)

We want your exciting, vibrant, passionate stories between 4 and 10K in length with the theme of ‘First Time.’ 

You can twist it any way you want. It can be first kiss, first vacation, first anything! It can be sexy, funny, serious contemporary or sci-fi! The possibilities are endless, just make it your own and of course it has to include TTWD!  

The intent is to publish it as an anthology and give you talented authors out there a chance to showcase your writing and bring together readers and writers of our little genre.

The anthology will be edited by Stardawn Cabot and it will either be a free e-book or the proceeds will go to a charitable organization. 

Submission are open until June 30, 2017 and we are asking for the full manuscript in a .doc file along with a short bio and links to your blog or author page if you have one, or nothing at all if you prefer. 

Submissions should be sent to Stardawn19@hotmail.com, clairebritain1@gmail.com and micahp48@hotmail.com 

We would like to get a general idea of who is interested in submitting a manuscript for this this little venture so email us and let us know if you plan to. That way we can set Micah on you if we don’t hear from you!

  1. I am excited to post Claire Britain’s post and even more excited to participate in the book. I would like to assure many of you that you ARE a better writer than you think. No one is perfect and Stardawn will be able to help you with any rough edges as she edits the work. Of course, I will always be happy to help you as well. Come on ladies and join us. Won’t it be great to have your story actually published . Way cool huh?

    Oh…and CJ and ABC. Remember when I said there would be something special for you? Guess what? Here it is….I will be looking forward to reading your stories! 🙂

      1. Hello Frankie. Welcome to the blog. CJ is indeed a brat and one of the nicest brats I’ve ever known. She is currently running herd on the other brats as they do a kinklet for the first time here.   4. Cool! This is great! 🙂 I also like that we have until June 30th. I thought I wouldn’t be able to because I have exams and all, but this should give me some time. I hope I can think of something new.

        Awwe crap-o-la! Don’t I already have a paper to write lol…and what if I choose option B Micah?

        Could it be any kind of storyline for me, and my First Time twist deals with the reality of it being my first time being FORCED to write a story!!

        Groaning…LOUDLY! I can’t promise anything, but I’ll put effort into trying.

    Sorry I’ve been MIA (writing this at Tokyo airport). This sounds very exciting! Like some others, I can’t promise a story by the end of June because May and June I will be out of the country again. However I will seriously think about it. Actually the theme of First is relatively speaking more “doable” than others and I really like it. 😉

      1. Wonderful! Turns out the story I was thinking of is actually 12,300 words hehe… I don’t think it can be cut down by 2300 words, so I’m going to just write something new 🙂

        1. If It’s a good story, I think it’s ok if it goes over a little. The words guideline was to just keep the stories short, which is actually a HUGE challenge for me. I just didn’t want to be dealing will full length novels.. lol. Fee free to write away!

  15. With my compulsion to keep things organized, I want to make a list as it currently stands.

    Plan to definitely write: CJ, ABC, Tigger, Ash, Aly, Anna, Stardawn, Claire 8 total
    WIll try to write: Thana, Peach 2 total

    So we currently have 10 people that will hopefully be able to submit a story. Hurray!

    1. I would like to try too…if that’s ok. I can’t promise anything, I am not sure I am good enough for this, but IF I can come up with anything remotely decent, I’d like to join. 🙂

  17. Hi. I just wanted to say that I’m interested in writing a story for this too. I was going to try to get a bit more practice writing spanking stories before even considering trying this, because it does sound fun, but then I accidentally came up with an idea for it so if I can get something decent finished by the deadline, I’d like to submit a story.

  19. Sooooooo just out of curiosity how is everyone doing with their stories? I had a bit of a slump but picking it back up. Of course my backup plan if this is not accepted is Alyx’s gift exchange… 🙂 In that case I have 210 Days YES!

    There are only 42 days left before the deadline…

  20. Thanks for the reminder, CJ. Time flies when your fighting the muse. As always, I’ve started a couple and aren’t happy with either so I’m trying again…

      I’ve got my story all planned out I just need to… start writing it. Luckily today’s a writing day so I should be able to get a decent beginning going. I hope so anyway 😛

  21. Hi, ladies. I just realized I did a huge mess (thanks to Mishi’s last post on her blog – thank you, Mishi, you spared me half a poor figure, the other half being I have to admit the truth now 🙁).

    Since I am oh so very smart I only now noticed that the poster image talks about Lesbian Spanking ROMANCE, which means there must be some sort of romantic relationship between the protagonsits. Congratulations to me for being so attentive (I kind of kept only the written part to mind and ignored the image)!! 😕

    That means now my story most likely doesn’t fit the description and I really doubt I can write a new one within the end of the month 😦

    I’m sorry! I really don’t know what to say. I’ll see if there is a way to fix my story and turn it around, but I fear it might be a little late.

I should rewrite the whole of it. 😨 I might as well try and come up with a new one 😦 In any case, mail’s coming as soon as I have a moment alone with my pc. Thank you.

Who knows if it would even fit? 😉 Really, though, it seems like a big deal but if you ask me it was an easy mistake to make and it doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you. Or anything to apologize for, seeing how much you were trying. *Hugs*

        Claire and Stardawn emailed me to tell me the plot is fine and the story should work despite the inconvenience! So I’m back to work!

        As I told CJ earlier…I will award you all a medals for your patience someday! 😀
